It's been a while since I updated, so I wanted to let y'all know where the project is at right now!

I've been working on and off on chapter 17 over the last couple of months, and things are coming along well! though slowly. I intended to have this out earlier, but I had a very exciting career moment that has kinda thrown my usual schedule for a loop! Some of you may know about the VRC based furry convention, Furality Online Xperience. Well, I was recently brought on as a volunteer! Those that know me are aware that I've had my sights set on becoming a Furality team member for a while now, so naturally, I've been spending a lot of time getting acquainted with the team, and putting my best foot forward to show them I'll be a reliable asset! My current responsibilites on the team are not very demanding, so aside from a couple weeks leading up to June, this isn't going to effect my work on HFTL too much, however!!! I am eager to take on more responsibilities If they will allow me, which may slow my personal projects down. This, of course, does not mean work will come to a complete stop, I am too in love with this story to let it languish unfinished for too much longer, and I want all my readers to see it through too :3

That being said, I can't give a firm estimate for when Chapter 17 will release, I am about half way through the art but especially leading up to FWA, I have a couple of other projects that I want to finish before my travels. at the latest, I will be uploading sometime mid may, but hopefully I can squeeze it in sooner!
