thank you for your concern but i am already well aware of the situation, and have already been affected by it. While I hope itch.io will bounce back from this as a platform, i am already considering alternate sites for hosting my work. My main concern is going wherever my current readership, and the general furry visual novel community goes, and as of now, they are still here.

The sheer effort it must take to pull all this off...I can't even begin to imagine how, but you really made it work. Absolute chills on every single thing happening. The FVN folks really are sleeping in on this gold. Thank you for your hard work on this story, Arcadia! Can't wait for the final chapters of this story!

I learned recently that in certain late antique to early high medieval portraits, square haloes were used to denote then-living Important People like bishops or queens who were thought of as being invested with the sacred by way of their station, but weren't necessarily destined to be canonized as saints after death, as opposed to round or cruciform haloes which were for explicitly holy figures. Dunno if Tulok's diamond halo is an intentional reference to that, but I thought it was neat nonetheless! Either way, I love everything about this VN so much–the plot, the characterization, the aesthetics, the vibes. It all just comes together so well!
oh my gosh, that's really cool! I didn't know about this, but that's really interesting considering Tulok's role in the story. Even if its not my intention I'm glad that there is a relevant historical connection to be made there. even though I'm definitely influenced by christian art as someone living in the USA, I try to distance myself at least a bit from it, but I love halos and wings too much to not use them.
